About the Principal Investigator Dr. Kenneth A. Levin serves as the Principal Investigator for the Clinical Trials Program. He is board certified by the Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the Academy of Pain Management. He has over 18 years experience in private practice and clinical trial research. He is a member of the National Headache Foundation, American Heart Association Stroke Council, American Academy of Pain Management and the Movement Disorder Society. Dr. Levin is Director of The Valley Hospital Stroke Center and Senior Affiliate Physican to Columbia University, NYC. Under Dr. Levin's direction, The Valley Hospital was recently awarded the Joint Commission Disease-Specific Care Certification for Stroke. Dr. Levin has most recently authored "Intravenous Ancrod for Treatment of Acute Ischemic Stroke, The STAT Study: A Randomized Controlled Trial." JAMA, May 10, 2000.
